When we get into the world of Nation-State hackers, it is an entirely different ball-game. Some of these organizations can spend millions of dollars on a 0-day exploit and spend billions of dollars every year on hacking. Everyday people really don't stand much of a chance if they were ever directly targeted. The best we can do is make it more difficult, detect when they have done it, minimize the loss, and perhaps recover gracefully.
