I heard or read lot of complaints about the new updates in steem. Why? Lot of changes are happening in steem. If we put it into my situation maybe it's like this. Before the average of my content earned for at least 0.150 steem. While now I only earned for unnoticed content of 0.50 steem. Lol, that's way too much difference. From what I understand in #newsteem, it's 50/50 rewards, 50 for curation and 50 for the author's. But if you'll see there 0.50 steem earning's. That is your rewards already, I'm not that sure about it. That's what I understand, but will I be able to survive with those earning's I have in steem? That's a good question I think and actit made me wonder what will happen to me. Well, I'm just wondering, I'm not giving up because I found a way how to survive here in steem.

ENGAGING- yeah that's it. So you will ask yourself if you'll be able to survive on steem of course I'm expecting you have a lower SP. Since you have a lower SP like mine, the value of your vote is worthless. Imagine I only have 300 SP and the amount value of it is 0.006. That vote alone can earn nothing in steem. That's why let's go to other's people, let's engage many accounts if you have time. Did you know that by engaging you can gain multiple benifits of it? Some bigger accounts will upvote your comment for much bigger than the contents you wrote or you posted.
I told you that engaging is the most important of all. What is it, what's the other benifits by engaging? If you keep on engaging you'll be
WISER
If you're new and limited RC, maybe the number of post, comments and upvotes will be limited. Yes, the thing we can do in steem is limited, so we must be wiser. Instead of writing a post that didn't earn much why not doing comments instead. Use that RC of yours by engaging other account's post and maybe they'll hit your comment with a bigger value of upvote. It's not that you're not good in writing but let's be realistic and be straightforward. If you want to write a post make sure you write something from a contest. That contest have many audience, no matter how good your post is if only audience can read it, it will be a waste.
One other thing that benifit you from engaging is
FRIENDS OR AUDIENCE
For example you made a nice comment, a comment that is worth to read. It's like that comment of your touch the heart of the author. Of course that author will appreciate it and give you an upvote. But you always return on that author's post and you have given that author a wonderful comment. If you'll do it for a week, that author will be much of help to you and that author will also be checking your post. But reminder don't make a comment saying, "wow, it's nice, thanks for sharing, cool post. That kind of comments are stupid.
JOIN A COMMUNITY OR JOIN IN A DISCORD SERVER
Do you have an idea what is that community I'm talking about? Lot's of community are running here in steem, for example steemterminal, pfc, steemitmamas and many more. You can join them if you'll approach them. But I think the more effective to join them is meeting them in discord. If you don't know what is discord you can find it in playstore and search "discord." By going in a discord they will help you many things. Just see their invitation to make you be there directly.

You can learn lot of things through engaging someone's post either. How they write and what tag they're using..
