We went to a place where many bananas will be found. Our cuisine for today's food trip is the heart of banana. We called it here in our own dialect, "puso ng saging." I don't know how it will be called into your own country. Will you tell me how is it call into your own language.

We don't have banana plant so we went into random places but of course with permission from the owner. It's hard to find this kind of vegetable because lot of people love this.
This area was not a plantation of banana but you know how banana grow. They'll keep on growing if no one would clean or organise where the plants should grow. Also because no houses in this area, the banana keep on growing.
Oh I found a reachable so I just reached it to get it. But most of it were unreachable that's why we used a bamboo tree to reach it and get it. Just like this..
It's not easy to get it because the formal way of getting the heart of the banana is by using a tall material with a knife or sharp materials at the edge of it.
He was searching for the heart because it was dropped in dirty part. Many leaves and grasses were there.
We started walking on a different place because there was no heart of banana anymore. I forgot to take image while we're on the street in walking towards to the place we want to go.
While we were walking in the street someone called us. Not literally a friend but we knew him. They're drinking liquor in their house. They called us to drink for at least one glass of alcohol. By accepting the glass of alcohol he gave us the fruit of jackfruit. It wasn't our plan to have this fruit but since he gave us. There's no room for refusing it.
Look we received 3 fruits of jackfruit and I forgot he gave us also 3 coconut fruit. It's perfect because we will use the coconut milk in cooking it.
We were now ready to go home to prepare in cooking it. It will take too much time in cooking this kind of food.
We removed the cover of it because the cover of it can't be eaten. It's bigger when the cover of it won't be removed. But after removing it, it will be small just like this.
It's small right and lot of us will eat the food. While the other one was removing also the skin of the fruit of jackfruit. He used sharp materials in doing it, for example a bolo or knife.
After removing the skin of the fruit he will now start cutting the fruit. It should be cut so it will be easy to make the fruit soft by boiling water of it. By the way the heart of the banana was also boiled to make it soft.
Unlike the heart of the banana that will be cut only in half. The fruit of jackfruit will be cut into small pieces. This will be done so that it won't take much time in making the fruit soft.
All the preparation to boil these fruit were finished. Now, it's time to boil it in a big pot.
Now we will just wait for it to make it soft and ready to cook.
