I can still see the sky while I'm inside. I can still feel the cold during nighttime but of course, too much heat during the daytime. What to expect, I don't know anymore if I'm inside or outside. Just the shadow of yesterday's shape forced me to believe that this is home. Just the memories of yesterday encrypted in my thoughts that this is where the home is. Maybe, the memories just brought all the feelings that encouraged me not to forget.
I thought the day after the typhoon, the sun would only sleep when the moon arrived. I thought there would always be stars in the sky preventing heaven from crying because of its beautiful surroundings. I thought the burden from heaven was loosening after that monster typhoon. I thought it would take more days before the rain even though we're in the month of December. I thought the world would let us rest or pity us first. We're not ready for the rain to come because building a house from scrap materials would not stop the rain from coming inside. Just a shape of establishment that people know that someone is living there.
2 weeks ago, we were all blinded by the strong wind that brought the typhoon. I couldn't believe that during bedtime the rain would not let us close our eyes. It kept disturbing our sleepiness because I'm not sure if rooftop should we call that covered above. I'm not sure if those holes above us are intentionally made so that at night it wouldn't be that dark. Since there's no electricity these days, the brightness of the moon helps us to lighten up the surroundings. However, when it rains, it's still dark and not only that it disallows us to sleep because there's no comfortable place to lay down and sleep.
"Please don't rain", a lot of us for sure beg to the heaven. Seeing the transparent walls and the flexible rooftops made from plastics. Hotness can be acceptable but rain can not. Just imagine if you can sleep while under the water or can sleep while taking a bath. That's why, I or everyone for sure wishes that it does not rain for now please.
