Before the day of Christmas, we already started the joy because of it. The shimmering colorful lights that even the dark part will be brighter. The coldness of the wind tells us it's no surprise because it's Christmas. The song of Christmas even though it's been repeated for how many times, still, it's like a refreshment of our soul. What's with Christmas? Why does it give so much pleasure to our hearts? Maybe I have a few ideas why so?
Imagine the loneliest places will suddenly turn into the jolliest. Not long ago when that certain place was like being hunted with a ghost because no one loved to stay in that place. No sounds of laughter are supposed to be worn by everyone because being alive means we should be thankful. Although, the reality states the truth that life can never always be happiness. No matter how I think it is, Christmas is different because it seems everyone in the world is happy.
It's not about religion, it's not about faith but it's about feelings that captivate us to be happy. Maybe for some reason, people think that I'm talking about myself or the people I've seen. No, it's not like that, it's what I observed not just here but in different places that I'm referring to myself why not be delighted when Christmas gives us something to be happy.
Weeks passed, and I posted about how the government started decorating at the front of the municipal hall, you can see here It's morning so of course, lights were not being sparkled. It's not the time yet and it's not ready yet but yesterday it was lit for the very first time.
I just heard from friends about it and immediately, not too obvious of my excitement, rushed towards that place. I was delighted with what I saw, considering it's too simple when comparing it to other decorations I've seen from other towns like this. Perhaps knowing that it is located in our town is a reason enough for me to be happy like no other.
How about let me share a few shots that I had yesterday.
After taking time to enjoy the place, we decided to leave. It's not a goodbye to seeing something sparkling but another place to see. Yep, the church did the same. The front of the church is decorated with Christmas lights. Not as fancy as earlier but it has a discreet beauty with an artistic style. Even you can tell how it's so simple but yet you will be driven by its simplicity.
Only a few lights but it stood out because it's decent to look at. I have a few photos here.
What's with Christmas anyway? Sorry but even I can't say clearly what makes me happy when I can feel that Christmas is coming. I'm not a child anymore but the same feeling I had when I was a child during Christmas remains.
