Today I was tasked with fixing one of our clients' printed labels. They just switched their printers from a 200dpi kind to a 300dpi. Obviously that means that every label they print is now one third smaller. Usually, that means too small.

I never even heard of ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) until today. It looks really cool and it allows you to control whatever content is printed VERY exactly.

Since I thought it was rather fun and not too hard I would like to share with you the online emulator for ZPL. You can play around with it and see how what you 'say' to the printer instantly impacts what you see 'printed' on the right side of the screen.

Once you make any changes to the code just press the 'redraw' button and see what happens on the other side of the page.
