My parents are going to move in a few months so they have already started the process of getting rid of unused stuff that has accumulated over the years.
On my last visit my dad showed me he's school days' set of drawing instruments.
It really made me nostalgic, remembering all those times my dad used his steady hands and drawing know-how to help me with school projects. I remember how he drew straight lines and measured distances so he could create exact lettering. my posters always looked awesome, almost machine made. A bit sad that such hand drawing skills are hardly used today - most things are done on a computer faster and easier.
