I salute everyone in this community. It's such an honour to share my first 3D work with you all in this place. This is one of my 3D caricature creation from my files. My sole aim of registering and being a part of this place was so I could share my artistic journey and work from time to time, so pardon me if I'm way too excited to kickstart the journey. For the past few days and months since when my account was successfully created, I've been reluctant for some reasons that is why I waited for the new year to start.
My account was set up months ago but I didn't just have the motivation to start but this year I feel I'm ready to dive into something new and see how everything turns out.

I don't think I understand much about creative art communities but I've found a few while touring through the platform and I would love to try them out one after the other.
Share your opinion about my work if possible, I would like to get your review on my art, thank you everyone. I hope to see you all next time, bye!.

Creative Steps

I started with basic shapes (sphere and a cone) which I dragged and modelled to my taste

Further modeling and refining of the shapes I chose was made. I voxel remeshed the two piece to make them a single piece then smoothen the rough edges using the smoothing brush

In this creative step, I added the upper part of the body, that is the pectoral region and then the arms.

I finished this step with the character's full body. I voxel remeshed the entire piece again to make it a single piece and then smoothen again

Here I provided my character with some piece of clothings.

I created an hollow opening to serve as the eye sockets to attach the eye balls

Here is a visible and better view of the caricature character. You can see the clothes I wore it. Making clothes in nomad sculpt is such a tasking work especially if you wanna leave textures and folds on the clothes. I didn't wanna make any folding on the clothes so I just left them plain

Here I already started painting the skin, choosing a fitting color for it

1001566181.jpg

I went ahead to paint the clothes with two different colours (blue and yellow)

I added a base for my character, like a foot mat for it to stand on

1001566175.jpg

I added some textures to the clothes but without folds
