Hello my love, my name is Alicia and I am 50 years old and 49 Christmases and already close to living Christmas number 50 in my life, in fact I just turned 50 yesterday 12/03 and it is a pleasure for me to participate in a community of girls.
I am Venezuelan, from the state of Lara and like many Venezuelan families we agree, we have the family tradition of eating Hallacas at Christmas, the typical Hallaca u, a traditional dish of our pías that consists of a bun stuffed with stew wrapped in banana leaves, which we can accompany
with leg, a chicken salad and a piece of ham bread.
In my family and for a long time, it is punctual for us and as a family to share this delicious dish every Christmas.
Es un plato tradicional, lleno de amor y con mucho sabor. No puede faltar en nuestra mesa. Y es muy especial para mí, porque esa hallaca la hace mi mama, ¡ah y le quedan divinas!
It is a traditional dish, full of love and with a lot of flavor. It cannot be missing from our table. And it is very special for me, because my mother makes that straw, oh and they look divine!
The other part of our family tradition is to sit down as a family to enjoy the Christmas commercials that the television publishes that each year our favorite channels offer us. Although currently it is not like before, but it has always been part of our tradition, I will leave you a couple of videos of the Christmas wedges.

And of course, the singing of Gaitas could not be missed to celebrate every Christmas, the Zuliana Bagpipe, as its name says, comes from the Zulia State and every December we delight ourselves with the December classics to welcome the Christmas season and say goodbye to the old year.

MI ADORNO FAVORITO EN NAVIDAD / MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS DECORATION
My most precious ornament is the garland. The story behind it is: It brings back memories when I was selling AVON products. It lasted for several years, until I retire. I did well with sales and with the incentives that were prizes that we received among them “La Garland”. And to make it stand out more, place a star in the center with the drawing of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) that you could not miss.
And well that's all I have to tell, thanks for reading and happy holidays to all.
