The video blogger ‘Fine Print’ has decided to comment on the disgraceful arrest of a 15 year old boy for making some insulting comments about a Conservative councillor. For those unfamiliar with this latest example of how batshit crazy Britain has become here’s the short version. 15 year old boy with an admirably precocious interest in how Britain’s politics works and who is a supporter of the Reform Party spends his spare time attending his local council meetings and occasionally documenting them.

This young man should be praised for taking such an interest in the machinery of government and democracy but when the boy, named by Fine Print as Fraser, put up a social media post complaining about the fact that a Tory councillor had turned up for a council meeting in shorts Fraser put out a post showing the Tory councillor wearing Photoshopped rabbit ears. When the councillor next turned up wearing a suit Fraser allegedly said on social media ‘well that’s better than looking like a rent boy’ which was in reference to the councillors previous attire.

The councillor whined to local council officers about this comment and the council staff told him to involve the police. The result of this complaint is that four police officers turned up at this young man’s house, arrested him in his pyjamas and carted him off, still in his pyjamas, to the police station where he was thrown in a cell before being fingerprinted and having DNA samples taken.

The police are still considering whether to charge this young man with a ‘hate crime’ and at present he is on bail pending any charges. This as the Fine Print blogger said is an example of how ‘the process is the punishment’ works in Britain.

Here’s the link to the video. Watch it and get justifiably angry at where we are in Britain today.
