Picture Shows: A memorial for the victims of 7/10 in Israel

Three years ago on this date and at almost exactly the time I’m writing this piece Islamic terrorists crossed from Hamas controlled Gaza into Israel and slaughtered and brutalised whoever the terrorists could find. The Islamic terrorists murdered people, many of them Jewish but some who were not. They raped and brutally assaulted any of those they encountered and carried others off into horrendous captivity.

The October 7th Pogrom was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust and instead of creating justified sympathy in the rest of the world for the innocent Israelis murdered instead it unleashed a wave of Jew hatred, that has not been seen in places like Britain since the 1930’s. All the suppressed Jew hatred held by what I call the ‘Islamo-Left’, the uneasy alliance between radical Muslims and the Far Left, burst out.

The Islamo-Left in Britain paraded their hatred for Jews and their celebration of the Pogrom on the streets of London even before the bodies of the victims of that Pogrom were cold. Those who are bereft of any sort of moral compass sided with those who are not just enemies of Jews and Israelis, but who are enemies of the West as well.

The subsequent war in Gaza was nasty but necessary. The Israelis took the right decision to attempt to destroy the governance of the terror statelet of Gaza that had bred the monsters who carried out the 7/10 Pogrom. No sane country would want to live next door to such monsters.

On this day we should take time to remember what the Islamic terrorist savages did to Israel. Remember the decent and innocent lives that were lost that day. Remember those who fought back as best they could, remember those who tended to those wounded in the attack and remember those who comforted the dying.

We should remember and pray for those murdered, captured and harmed in body and in soul. We should also pray that those innocent people who were attacked by the Islamic savages of Gaza are avenged.

May the memory of those martyred that day be for a blessing, may those hurt in body and in soul find healing and may the Eternal One via the Israeli Defence Forces hunt down, eliminate or otherwise bring to justice all those who carried out, planned or supported the terrible inhuman acts of October 7th 2023.
