As an animal lover, the only thing I hate most in life is the zoo. I never want to go to the zoo. But sometimes I have to go to a zoo next to our house with my family. And what I see there always breaks my heart.
Many wild animals are kept in cages. One of the multiple wild animals is kept in a small cage. Yes I am not talking about safari park here. In the safari park, the animals and birds are released, but in the zoo, the wild animals have to spend their whole lives in a small cage. They are no longer cage animals, they are wild, they need to be in a forest.
I went to the zoo and took some pictures. The zoo had many monkeys, Hanuman, tigers, crocodiles, peacocks, macaws, ostriches, emu birds, deer, otters, and many more. Now which of these animals do you think is a cage animal or a bird? I don't think this animals can lives in a cage.
There were a total of 5 ostriches . Their size is huge. They are placed in (100 '* 100') place. And they have a small tin house to stay the night. Which seemed a lot less to me. Due to so little space, they have all the healthy and sick birds. And the feathers of many birds have fallen off. They can't even run well. And it is better not to talk about their food. The stench was coming from their food. And these birds were stinking so bad that people couldn't stand near their cages for long.
Then some monkeys were kept in a cage. The size of the cage was about (30 '* 30'). They are in the same situation. We have seen on TV or in the forest that they are very restless. But inside this cage they are sitting quietly. People are coming and giving them nuts. And they are reaching out from inside the cage for food. There were about 30 monkeys in one cage.
Inside a cage was a Madantak bird. They are much larger in size. They are kept only (10 '* 10') in a cage. The bird is unable to fly due to illness. They catch small fish in the river and eat it. But inside the cage, the zoo authorities let the dead fish eat this bird.
There were 2 otters inside a cage. And the size of that cage will be only (8 '* 8'). And they had a small tub for bathing, the size was only (3 '* 3'). And I didn't see any food inside their cage. As soon as people went to their cages and called them, they started running in search of food.
I was most upset to see two Hanumans. This means they only had cages (৭ '* ৭'). And like 10 'in height. I mean, they calmed down and sat in one corner of the cage. People shouted but did not come. Just sitting and watching people. They had some green vegetables in their cage.
Many such wild animals spend their entire lives in small cages. Yes, I know that means zoo, where the animals are kept. But that doesn't mean that healthy wild animals should be brought in and kept in small cages. However, it should be taken care of properly. Don't do anything, just show them and take money and spend your life happily. This is not right.
Now if a healthy person is confined in a small house for the rest of his life, what will happen to him? These animals are in the that same condition now. I'm not just talking about zoos in our country, I'm talking about zoos in all countries.

I think the zoo should be a place where sick animals can be accommodated and cared for. And when they recover, they will be released into the forest again. By doing this, our wild animals will be able to survive in the forest for a long time.
