The Austrian Mint
With many centuries of experience, the Austrian Mint is one of the world leaders in bullion minting - starting operations back in 1194. The Austrian Mint is the only manufacturer of coins in Austria, and is fully owned by the Austrian National Bank (Source).
Austrian Philharmonic Coins
This 1oz .999 fine silver Austrian Philharmonic coin, a celebration of music, was minted by the Austrian Mint - a well known and trusted coin, first minted in 1989.
The front of the coin features "The Golden Hall", the Musikverein - the home of the Austrian Philharmonic orchestra. Along the top curve of the coin is the text "REPUBLIK OSTERREICH", along the bottom curve is "1,50 EURO", just above that is the text "1 UNZE FEINSULBER" (1 OUNCE FINE SILVER), just below that is the mint year of "2022".
The backside of this coin features the main instruments of the Vienna Orchestra - a Vienna horn, cello, violin, and harp.
Along the top curve of the backside of the coin is the text "WIENER PHILHARMONIKER", just below that is the word "SILBER".
The Austrian Philharmonics, well respected coins from the historical Austrian Mint, solid additions to the stack. I've been holding off on purchases the past couple weeks, I'm waiting another week to see what happens, an interesting time for gold and silver prices.
