Hello
This is my first blog. I am from England, but I now live in the United Arab Emirates with my wife, Sheryl, from Philippines. We have a one year old baby.
I thought that it was about time that I started to create blogs, as I enjoy writing a lot.
My original home town is Paignton, which is part of the English Riviera which includes Torquay and Brixham. It is a beautiful place with a nice climate.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is hot. Very hot. Too hot in the summer months, but there is air conditioning to save me. It gets cooler in the winter, which is when most events take place.
I live in Sharjah which is very close to Dubai. I love the fact there are lots of people of different nationalities, living very harmoniously. Different cultures coming together. I think the rest of the world could learn a lot.
