There are so many new roguelikes coming out everyday, each one with little difference from each other, small difference but with this formula at the core of randomized enviroments and one life permadeath.
Today I played again Enter the Gungeon and it's one in this genre that do everything almost perfectly, it isn't groundbreaking and play around with strange and innovative ways but it's so polished, fun and quirky that I find really hard to belive anybody would find some enjoyement.
It's hard I have to say, like almost all the games in this genre they are above average as comparing with other structurally different games.
Enter the gungeon has even a really cool lore and backdrop, with the story pretty enthralling for being a game that takes it self really not that serius. But it will make you very serius when you are sweating with half heart and a missed dodge away from ending your run.
