It's been a really long time that since the last time I sit down before some code or pixel art or some game parts to assembly(still I barely found time to play games).
I was pleased to find that both Unity and Game Maker studio 2 games still function and the latter have done some remarkable update with slope collision reworked to make it an easy implementation it seems. It's something that I want to look into next and make a game around this new update.
So while opening up the projects I found this golf ball platformer based on the physics engine of Gms 2 and started playing around and trying recalling how it worked, while I'm very chaotic at writing code and organizing assets I got back into very fast and built 2 - 3 levels and corrected the direction draw line to being shown only when the shot is ready.
It was simply done by checking if the global.fireready variable is active on the golf ball object to determine it's visibility.
I hope soon to publish something playable to hear if it's something enjoyable to be expanded further or just a silly experiment.
I kind of lied when I said that I didn't try to make some games because since a got a Switch last year with Super Mario Maker 2 I started making a 5 level world on the idea of a more freedom driven Mario levels. But it's a long project and right now I have only 1 level truly complete.
Well anyway enjoy and see you soon!馃懢
