My name is Martin Pfordt (born 1961) and I live in Munich.
Since 1994, I have been actively involved in the stock markets and have learned many instructive lessons on investing in stocks.
While still a student in Saarland, my grandfather led me to this exciting topic. With the 1,000 DM donated at the time, we bought together warrants on Höchst (now Sanofi).
I once started small, too. With my first earned money I bought for 2,000 DM Microsoft shares. That was in 1994. At that time, the first online bank in Germany - formerly DAB Bank, now BNP Parisbas - Consors - opened.
And to this day I have remained faithful to this hobby. Because it is challenging, exciting, varied and if you do it well, you can generate a nice income.
Meanwhile, I would describe my strategy as follows:
Buy and hold approach
Invest in the best stocks in the world (the ones that only rise)
Growth stocks and dividends aristocrats and real estate investments via REITs

What do you expect in my blog?
I would like to share with you my experience investing in shares.
Here I will publish my daily activity report in the area of Equity Investments and Wikifolio Management.
Explain the basics of saving and investing in equities and managing a private equity portfolio.
If appropriate, respond to current events in the market and explain my actions.
Because one thing is certain: we all have to make private provision in order to maintain our standard of living in old age.
