Getting closer to levelling up our Barracks
One thing that I am looking forward to is the completion of our Level 2 Barracks. We are now almost halfway through it, and there is a good chance that we might finish levelling it up before the year ends! Why is a Level 2 Barracks important for us? It's because of those Gladius cards! It has been a very common occurrence for me to be wrecked whenever I face an enemy using a Gladius card. I want to try and turn the tables around!
For this brawl, my record is a sad 2 wins and 5 losses. This might be my worst performance in my entire Guild Brawls history. What had made it harder for me is the end of season timing of the brawls, which means that I will have a hard time renting decent Alpha/Beta cards. Aside from that, 2 of my enemies were able to use Gladius cards in this match. This may sound like an excuse -- but those cards are pretty strong!
Among these matches, my favorite match is Battle #2. Simply because it is the only fought match that I actually won, and I was able to win against a Gladius card! The ruleset for this match was Armored Up and Up Close & Personal. Given that there are very limited melee cards in this fray that can attack when not in front, I opted to go for 2 Sneak attackers and one with Reach ability. Luckily, my Zintar's -1 melee damage was able to help my Haunted Spirit in the frontline and sustain itself with Heal.
On the exchange of attacks in the first few rounds, only my enemy's Chromatic Dragon and Skeleton Assassin were attacking. That scenario became fatal for my enemy as by Round 5, only Haunted Spirit and Chromatic Dragon were the last Monsters standing in their team.
This has then resulted in my only fought win for this guild brawl. Luckily, I was able to use the Up Close & Personal ruleset in my favor for this match. If I did not opt for a heavy sneak lineup, I will definitely be obliterated by that Gladius card.
There you have it! Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoyed reading about my experience in this guild brawl.
