The Wrap-around Spider, Dolophones conifera, is so named because by day it presses it's body flat around a twig, where it becomes very well camouflaged. In this case it is on a small flower bud. Like most other members of the Araneidae family, at night it will build and orb web (the typical round spiraled web).
