This small moth has shown up in my backyard only two or three times over the last decade. It is the Forked Footman, Phaeophlebosia furcifera. This is the only species within the genus and is endemic to Australia. It's found from the north-east of New South Wales down to Tasmania. I cannot find any information on the larval host plant but it is obviously something that is growing nearby. If anyone knows please let me know.
