Most courses are offline with students spending hours traveling to classes
This is especially problematic for residents of major cities, where the time spent commuting to class can take as
much as one to two hours each way. Many students spend two to three hours on the road to receive one hour of tutoring

Unbalanced supply of tutors by courses and prices

When tutoring is performed offline it’s difficult to match the supply and demand for tutoring in each particular location.
In smaller cities, it can be impossible to find a properly qualified tutor. Also, the price for tutoring is higher in
larger cities and lower for equally skilled tutors from smaller cities and rural areas who are unable to teach students
in bigger cities due to geographical mobility limitations.

Middlemen (commercial schools and study centers) charge significant markups

If a school charges $20 for a lesson, the tutor usually receives
$5–8 of the total amount. Working directly with tutors
and eliminating the middlemen makes it possible to
save up to 75% on the cost of a lesson

The small percentage of tutors who do
already work online are mostly forced
to teach via Skype, which is unsuited
to educational purposes.

Poor quality Internet connections and a complete lack of the necessary study infrastructure (interactive study spaces,
scheduling, payment, etc.)
makes the teaching and learning process challenging for both tutors and students

Students choose teachers on the basis of unreliable ratings with some ratings being «fake»

Most reviews that are left about tutors are often moderated
because such reviews are important marketing tools
for advertising tutoring services. Negative reviews are thus
often simply deleted from the system, with only positive
ones continuing to feature

:: Ntok Have a solutions ::

Ntok developing a decentralized peer-to-peer platform to create a global ecosystem for continuing education,
where the key participants (tutors and students) can find each other.

The NTOK platform is aimed at allowing
NTOK tokenholders, both tutors and students, to interact directly. One of our goals is to remove the
middlemen such as commercial schools and study centers and to create economic benefits for the key participants in the ecosystem

The central part of the NTOK platform is the NTOK crypto-token which is used for various purposes, including paying for lessons by students and earning income by teachers and content providers.

:: Transaction in the platform ::

Transactions in the NTOK platform will be paid for using the NTOK token. We understand that some participants
may not find buying and selling crypto-tokens entirely intuitive at first. To solve this problem, we are planning
a seamless integration with the exchanges where NTOK tokens may be listed. As a result of this integration,
Ntok will be able to allow participants that are not comfortable with crypto tokens to pay for transactions within
the ecosystem using traditional fiat currencies.

:: Using BlcokChain ::

Tutors will get paid in NTOK tokens directly by students through the Ethereum blockchain (ERC20 standard).

For better user experience fiat currency to token exchange capability will be integrated into the system.
Rating and review system for tutors, video lessons and education content will be based on Ethereum smart
contracts. Students will be able to rate tutors only after paid lessons. Video lessons and education content will
be rated after payment (for paid content).
