You are welcome to my first post on reupholster a car seat. here i want to show steps by steps on how to reupholster a car since. At the end of this post you should be able to upholst any car seat you come across.
Firstly before i proceed i will love us to know what we mean by upholstery.
What is upholstery
Upholstery in my on way best on car seat means to provide funiture especially seats with fabric or leather cover.
Let see how to upholst this
Before
Simple steps on how to achieve that
Step 1: choose the fabric
Firstly you need to choose the fabric you love to use or the leather. When choosing be sure it match with the other colour of the car interior. In this case we are using this
Because it match the carry come fabric.
Step 2: Detach car seats
Locate the bolts on the seat and loose to separate the back from the seat
Step 3: Measurement and cutting of fabric/treaming
At this stage with the help of sewing tape measure out the length of each join in the seat and cut it out or u loose the whole fabric and place on the new fabric face to face after that u cut it out
You place it on form with the help of gum and cut it out
Step 4: sewing and reupholster
After getting done with the cutting you now sew the together and the fix it
Finally u will achieve this
