Good day everyone in this great community and happy weekend to you all, how are you all enjoying your weekend, I hope everything is going well. Today is Saturday and the last working day for this week and I am at my working place right now and everything is going smoothly over here although the weather is not bright.

Today I want to share with you all how to change a door carpet of a Toyota Camry and is very simple, it is really diy post and going through this post you will really learn alot from it. This is my first time posting something on door carpet so treat it has important.

Has I mention before I am here to learn from other why other also learn from me and we move on.

The was one of my customer I make this design for in his seat, and he really fall in love with it because the site was wow, so today He came back to me complaining that people love the site so much that I should also do the same sewing design on the door too so that everything will balance because the old door carpet was plan with no design and after doing it the door look amazing and mature.

Let get started

Tools/material needed

• Start scroll driver
• New leather
• Sewing machine
• Original gum
• Sewing tape
• Knife
• Roof material

Steps to follow up

Step 1
Use your star screw driver to loose out all the screw on the door carpet, remove the central lock control and that you now unclip the door carpet from the car door and then take it to workshop.

Step 2
Remove the old leather on the door carpet

and then use sewing take to take the vertical length and the horizontal length of the door carpet at where you have the leather. Then cut it out on your new leather, after cutting it you now use roof material to gum it so that the sewing line will come out neat. And then use your sewing machine to the design seen below

Step 3
After sewing it, you now use you gum, here is the gum I am using.

Apply the gum on the sew material and also to the door carpet

Step 4
Finally gum them together and the trim out the excess to have your shape. When gumming it together make sure it reach all the edges.

Step 5
You now use knife to force the ages inside the side of the door carpet, but some people may choose to loose it all out to make it simple but is a long process.

The final use the knife to open the possible of the central lock control and you are good to go.

Step 6
After that you now clip it back to the car.

Then fixed back the central lock control and is the final look
