Who is "Jesus Christ man, who gave himself a ransom for all"? (1 Timothy 2: 5-6)
Jesus is "God ... blessed for ever" (Romans 9: 5). "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him all things were created "(Colossians 1: 15-16).
Jesus came down from heaven to earth. "I have come down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me" (John 6:38).
Jesus led a life without sin. "He knew no sin" (2 Corinthians 5:21). "He did not sin" (1 Peter 2:22). "There is no sin in him" (1 John 3: 5).
Jesus died to take away sin. "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29).
Jesus rose from the dead. "I was dead; but behold, I am alive for ever and ever "(Revelation 1:18).
Jesus ascended to heaven, "He was raised ..." (Acts 1: 9) and "He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God" (Mark 16:19).
Jesus is at the right hand of God and "intercedes for us" (Romans 8:34).
Jesus will return. "I am going, then, to prepare a place for you. And ... I will come again, and I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be "(John 14: 2-3).
Jesus will be the supreme judge: "All judgment was given to the Son, so that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father" (John 5: 22-23).
