Istanbul is a city where cats seem to be no less important than people. These beautiful creatures are encountered almost everywhere. It is difficult to determine whether they have their own home, or live their lives as street wanderers - they all seem to be one large family. Fortunately, the majority of them are friendly and just want to be stroked, however, this cat was different.
He had a proud look, penetrating me with his bold glance. Perhaps, he was thinking about whether to continue our acquaintance, which he had begun some seconds before. Nonetheless, when I pulled out my camera he stood proudly, allowing me to shoot him. It was fascinating, how he held his pose, being used to it, maybe, for his entire life. It seems that he was not accustomed to take pictures of himself as a stray cat.
Meanwhile, back at the computer, I continued working on this lovely picture, trying to emphasize, first of all, his pride. I have attached both photos - color and black and white versions to demonstrate the difference. Each of us perceives emotions differently, so it is great if you can share your version of this picture in the comments below.
