We had spent the whole day touring the famous James Bond islands, so when the tour returned to the pier, I was already exhausted. It was a splendid day, but the long hours enjoying the breathtaking scenery made me tired.
As we drew closer to the pier, the sun was already going down, bathing the sky in bright gold and blue hues. Even the boats tied to the pier looked as they had taken a long and strenuous journey across the sea since the first light of dawn.
Nevertheless, the sight was beautiful, as the boats gently swayed from left to right with the current of the pearly water. The view was calming, as I had just finished a long and exciting tour. I took a couple of pictures to capture the feeling of returning home, with the boats, the pier, and the sky forming a heart-warming backdrop. I am glad I had made the decision to capture a few pictures because my favorite shot was right at the moment I felt the most tired.
I was overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude and serenity upon seeing the photo. There isn't a single moment in this shot that does not fill your heart with joy and a desire to explore. The boats in this photo are simply the best, as they look magnificent with the setting sun casting its last few rays on the horizon, creating a perfect golden hour backdrop.
