What attracts me the most in India is the patterns and motifs unique to India with high diversity.
For me, as I was taking photos of the Red Fort, spotting such designs was extremely fascinating for me, and I tried to take photos of them.
What is really fascinating for me is that these had been carved out with great precision on stones. All the designs are repeated, and the ability to accurately reproduce and construct such designs on stones requires tremendous skill.
On the other hand, if you look closely, in some places, these designs are extremely thin, meaning that one mistake could ruin days of effort and break the stone!
And this is really admirable how they used to spend time in the past and how such artistic execution mattered to them. Nowadays, such designs are easily made using molding and cement, but in the past, they created them with primitive tools.
The intricate stone carvings and repeating geometric motifs found in historical Indian architecture, such as the Red Fort, showcase the extraordinary craftsmanship and dedication of ancient artisans.
