Welcome dear Amazing Nature Lover,
these closeup shots of the buds and blossom of my favorite Cherry Tree are my very first entry to the Amazing Nature Thematic Contest and of course for all #AmazingNature Lovers to enjoy. This tree lives at one of my favorite places i visit on almost every morningwalk. It's always a pleasure to see this beauty come to life every year in springtime, watch the birds enjoying the cherries later in summertime and accompany it going to sleep in autumn for wintertime.
The botanical name of this wild Cherry Tree is Prunus Avium and these are widely spread across Middle-Europe. Even though the fruits are edible they are not very tasty in comparison with the typical cherries we're used to enjoy. The fruits are rather dark-red almost black in color and surely a favorite food of the birds around here.
Here we see one of the many branches with several clusters of buds partly opening up already.
Let's get a little closer to one of the awakened buds and enjoy it's majestic beauty.
And now behold the beautiful fragile white flowers blooming together with a bunch of buds ready to spring open very soon too.
