This post for todays Fungi Friday is kind of a sequel to last weeks post, because it‘s all ears again. I shot a different group of ears, äh, fungi this time that again look a lot like ears, but these are even named accordingly if i identified them right. They were growing on a dead tree trunk that was lying around somewhere and as far as i could find out this fungi’s common name is Judas Ear or latin Auricularia Auricula-Judae. As always, in case some of you recognizes this one and knows better feel free to correct me in the comments.

Now let‘s look at the photos.
Here‘s a couple of Judas Ears sitting on the dead tree.
This one is on a solo stroll on the trunk and the ear is wide open.
Same model, different angle.
Again the same fella, this time from „behind“.
And now to some group photos from different anges of a few more Judas Ears listening to each other telling fungi stories.
That‘s it, enough ear fungi for now. I hope you like my fungi photos and you come back for more fungi shots.
