There is no doubt that procrastination is a thief of time. The effects of procrastinating are so bad that if care is not taken, you won't be able to achieve anything at the end of the day.
Procrastinating will make you lose everything you've worked for, and it will not allow you to achieve your dreams, goals, and objectives in life. When you procrastinate too much, you will regret it when you get old. That is the reason we need to eradicate the word procrastination from our dictionary if we really want to be great people in life.

To stop procrastinating, the best thing you need to do is understand yourself. Understanding oneself will teach you how to stop procrastinating all the time. To me, these are some ways in which I stop procrastinating all the time.
I remember when I was in school, I did procrastinate about reading all the time. Which makes me always say that I will read better when the exam is near. Unfortunately, when the exam is near, I will still procrastinate and end up rushing the reading of books just a few days before the exam, which always affects my sleep and my performance. We all know that no one can cheat nature, and sleep is also one of hers. Since I realized that is what is happening, I need to change my plans by setting small goals.
What do I mean by that? I realized I was lazy. But a lazy person always finds the perfect way to execute their task. From the beginning of the semester on, I make sure I read just a single page a day. In fact, if it's just two lines, I understand, and I'm ok with it. And the funniest thing is that I only spend 10 minutes reading every day. It is that short because I realized that if I increased the time of my reading, I would not be serious with it.

Furthermore, more discipline is one of the best things to master in any procrastinating situation. I do set aside just 10 minutes of reading every day, and I make sure that I'm disciplined to the extent that I do not joke with it. Before I know it, at the end of the semester, I've already covered almost everything I needed to cover, and when it's exam period, it looks so easy for me to read again.

Lastly, I make sure that I have some friends that are also ready to help me out of my procrastinating situations, and these friends are so disciplined that even when I'm too lazy to do something, they will force me to do it, and before I know it, it's already in my blood, and that is how I'm able to eradicate procrastinating situations.
