Hi everyone. This @utopian-io bug report was made to showcase a bug I found while writing a contribution here.

Bug Details

When you attempt to upload an image to Utopian by copy-paste, the Uploading your image... screen hangs forever. In the below animation, I use a command to copy a screenshot of the screen. Then, I attempt to paste it into Utopian. Though the image shows up, the Uploading your image screen persists.

Environment Information

I'm currently running the latest version of Chrome on macOS High Sierra version 10.13. The bug can be reproduced indefinitely at the URL https://utopian.io/write. Here are the steps to reproduce:

Copy an image to the clipboard.
Paste it into the Utopian Write/Edit box.
Watch as the image successfully uploads/shows up, yet the animation shown below continues forever.

In order for the developer to fix the bug, they can simply check when the image gets uploaded in, and they can call a function to kill the animation at that point. This would be very helpful to those who upload images to Utopian (a majority of us, I believe).
