Raspberry Pie 3 Use
I have been buying raspberry pie for about a year and a half. I've been working on this for a while now, and now I've come up with 90% of the results I wanted, and I thought I'd write something about the release of the Raspberry Pie 4 version. Although I am a Linux starter, I came here with the help of Google. I would like to have a little help for those novices who do not know what to do after buying RazBaipi.

I use iCloud Photo and album on iPhone very well, so I looked for a service that can display the photo in this photo frame directly. MagicMirror2 and other open source projects are great, but I decided to use Dakboard's services in the end considering whether iOS shared albums are supported, calendar and reminder display capabilities, and design.
The remaining monitor was the AlphaScan AOC 2477 model. I disassemble the product, leaving only the panel and AD board, and consulted with the head chef to create the frame.
Dakboard itself is very convenient. There is a free and paid version, and the free version also has a calendar / picture frame / weather / reminder / news RSS service.
The screen can be both horizontal and vertical, but Mobile / Tablet, Portrait, and Large Font are the best suits.
I do not know the exact refresh interval, but after reviewing the contents, it is good to see that the news, calendar, and photos have been updated with the latest updates.
I have set up and have used it very well. I think it is meaningful to look at the picture again, not the end. So I keep my wife and my old photos, my date of dating, my honeymoon, my recently born child photos. I have also been eating rice and I have been having a lot of fun while I was looking at pictures. I envy everyone around me. In addition, you can instantly see calendars and reminders, so it's great not to miss family events or things to do.
I spend a year well, but a few months ago my wife smashed LCD, so I bought a 13 inch portable monitor from AliExpress. It is certainly smaller than 24 inches, but it is better suited for use on a living room table than on a wall. At least 21 inches still seems to fit the function of [picture frame].
I am really looking for a function to continuously update a part of a specific site on the screen (for fine dust detection), which is 9.5 points minus 0.5 points because it is available only in the paid version.

When a child is born, there are many things to play EDM, cafe music, classical, etc. for lullabies and swaying / mood switching for babies.
There is one sound bar of LG that I did not have at first, so I wanted to listen to music on YouTube or Summing with it. However, connecting and disconnecting bluetooth is much more troublesome than thought, and the smimming service has an additional cost every month, and the YouTube app has a disadvantage that it can not be played anymore when the screen is turned off.
So the solution I found is: 1. Download the long playtime music such as a collection of songs or EDM Mix on YouTube 2. Install the Plex server in Raspberry Pie and copy the file there 3. Connect the Raspberry Pie to the Soundbar , Install Shairport Airplay to enable AirPlay functionality in Raspberry Pie / 4. Play music from your Pocket app on your phone or iPad, and let AirPlay make the sound from the speakers connected to the Raspberry Pie. is.
It was very easy to listen to the music easily by using the file received from YouTube or the original music files. It was so good that I disconnected after I connected the Bluetooth, and when I called it, the speaker sounded and the inconvenience of the conversation disappeared.
It is inconvenience such as downloading directly and adding a new file, and installing Plex in Raspberry Pie and giving permission is cumbersome, so it is 8.0 points minus 2 points.
For Shairport, there is a little delay when switching to AirPlay, and every time you update or upgrade to Raspberry Pie, it gets crowded because of this. I've reinstalled Raspberry Pie 3 times so far, and I had to reinstall it once, because I wanted to try it once, and it was because of the other two times ...
I decided to use Plex, which was used for Transmission and music appreciation after finding the easiest and easiest way to download the video by using the iPad.
Transmission allows you to add and download through the iPad, auto-start / auto-add to Plex, auto-delete after completion, auto-delete from trash, and more. If you are uncomfortable to use a bit, even if I set it up, I never took advantage of the wipe. I downloaded it through the iPad and when I was done, I ran Plex on the iPad and watched the images stored in Raspberry Pie on the iPad.
And I was satisfied with the performance of Raspberry Pie which was slow but slower than I thought (?) Down speed and 1080p. However, it is 8.5 points by subtracting 1.5 points from the inconvenience of finding and downloading images manually (though it is easier than music).
Since I have also removed the TV, after using IPTV canceled and Pooq payment, the number of usage has decreased to half.
I read books and news from Kindle and Caliber until college years and years ago. However, because of the inconvenience of turning the computer on and off in the morning, turning it off for no reason, and having nothing to do with the power off, Reeder and Feedly on Macs and iPhones I was.
I wanted to install Caliber in the raspberry pie which is always on because it seemed to be snowed and send news in the morning and afternoon.
Once you fetch the news and send it to Kindle via e-mail, the entire process and installation process from kindle to viewing is very cumbersome, but once you set it up, it was a very convenient way to read news, blog postings and scraps.
However, if you want to see through Kindle apps such as iBook reader, smartphone, iOS, etc., or if you want to view Dropbox and Mail in your device's eBook viewer, it is better to give up. Once you try to read articles fetched from caliber of Raspberry Pie in a kindle app on a device other than a kindel, the spacing and paragraph breaks are broken. Anyhow, when you solve the spacing, all the images and subtitles are flying.
After setting, I used it with kindle. But a few months ago, the Kindle broke down and I saw another way to read it in the Kindle app or in another Kindle viewer. But eventually, the set-up was over for a month, so I gave up and went back to Reeder. So if you use it on other devices, you will see the worst 3.5 points on the Kindle.
I was planning to install the Google assistant because the device is set near the kitchen and living room and I want to set the timer for food, check the outdoor air condition, set the alarm, check the schedule, and so on.
I inserted a usb microphone at home and installed it as shown on the homepage of Google but it was not done in the end. If you check with another program, your voice does not sound very good, but you can record it. Strangely, the program seems to recognize that only the Google Assistant recognizes my words as silent. I bought an additional usb microphone and tried 3 or 4 Google solutions, but the Google assistant was not able to recognize my voice.
Razorberry pie recommendation score for beginners -> 7/10 points: Razbian barriers that are much more difficult and intuitive than what you would expect to get the novice to come up with (I feel the greatness of Windows and Mac ...). Moreover, performance is quite low and it is difficult to achieve the desired performance. Finally, installing multiple programs is not as stable as you might think. There is a total of 7.0 points for each -1 point.
