This mushroom can be confused with its cousin, the Ramaria formosa, which is toxic. It acts as a purgative and depending on the person, the gastrointestinal syndrome is more or less severe, the confusion comes when the Ramaria flava (edible) evolves and acquires pinkish tones. However, the mature specimens have a bitter taste and should not be eaten. Thank you!
