The creature I am presenting to you today belongs to the genus *Ischnura*. It can be found in various local habitats across Bangladesh—particularly in crop fields, forests, and among vegetation. I have observed that they are especially common in areas with dense or varied plant life. While I was by the edge of our pond, I noticed several of them among my vegetable plants. As I was working, one *Ischnura* landed on a leaf right near me. I decided that I would like to share this with my friends, so I set out to capture a good photograph. After a few attempts, I managed to get a wonderful shot. I hope you enjoy seeing this photograph of such a fascinating insect!
