Here in Mexico, when I go out for food is when I take the opportunity to make some Street Photography, and if the police stop me, I say I'm making a documentary and they let me go, that's how I practice, I don't know if where you are you can do the same, but the most important thing after learning something, is to practice it, I wish you the best.
