Ok, before you start making fun because I can't stop myself from spending my money in the garden, I want to tell you that I feel bad, really bad, but actually it's because of the damn heat in the city, and since I had to go outside right now I feel like I need a lot of beer, oh yes a lot of it, but well the story is the following, I ordered Lithops seeds, 300 seeds that arrived today and I needed worm humus to put in the mix where I will sow them.
So, as the good spender that I am, I brought 4 kilos of humus, a small shovel and two new plants that we will talk about later, I think they must be succulents but I am not sure.
When the seeds arrived at first I thought I had been scammed, the truth is that they weigh nothing but when I saw the seeds I understood everything.
This is the mix that I have been using to germinate, either seeds or to put the leaves of succulents that I want to root, it is crushed lava rock, with what I know as jal, a little garden soil and humus that I add to it.
This is where I will sow the seeds, which by the way I forgot to mention, I bought 300 seeds and they sent me 4 bags with 100 seeds each, you can see it in the previous picture.
I wet the mix very well and let it drain the excess, put the seeds in it and covered the container, at this point I didn't take a photo of the seeds, since they were so small there was no point and I took all the photos with my smartphone.
I only needed to put the date and the amount of seeds, to be honest I was too lazy to count each one of the seeds, so I will trust that the small bag contained 100 seeds, after covering the container I put it under the shade net, the cover will serve as a diffuser for the light since it is not transparent, I will see how this idea works.
Now let's talk about these plants, the previous plant I have identified as rayito de sol of the Lampranthus genus, and although its leaves are similar the flower I feel it is different.
Now this last plant is of the type purslane, which would be of the genus Portulaca, which is more common and edible gives yellow flowers, but I really liked these different colors, it should also be a succulent right @nikv and
@ewkaw ? Well I will wait if you can help me with these two different plants, because I hope to buy a nice pot to transplant them and make the post.
