Well well, it's been a long time since the last post and the truth is that I haven't stopped working on the garden, in fact I have two weeks working every day, first I made the space for the garden bigger because it didn't fit anymore, I had to add another 16 square meters to the place, but let me show you some pictures.
We will talk about this Super Kabuto later, first let me tell you that I had really abandoned the garden to its fate, not because I didn't want it anymore, but because it was so saturated with plants that I was a little lazy to clean it, the rains had been intense and the weeds grew everywhere, but I said: that's enough! I need to recover my space and in the end, as I said, the garden ended up growing.
Look at that! It really looks awful! So natural but horrible!
What made me react was to see that some of my cacti were affected by so much humidity, they did not die but their epidermis will no longer be the same, so I decided that I needed to make terrariums, but not those terrariums where there is a lot of humidity, actually I don't know the word in English but let's say I made a big community pot looking to recreate their environment, at least that's my idea, and leave the plants directly in the sun, at least this fall and winter season.
This is called Tara, and although it was broken on one side I decided to use it and recycle, I don't know if it was my best decision but time will tell.
This is how it looks in the place I decided to use, I made holes in the Tara and tied to prevent the substrate from coming out, I filled with stones so as not to have too much mix, I put a layer of tepojal and at the end I added my substrate.
This time I decided to use a mix not so mineral, the cactus that I have under the shade netting are with 90% mineral, this time I am using 60% mineral and 40% organic since as I mentioned it will be in direct sunlight, I hope that my selection of plants has been correct.
When I started working it was in the afternoon, despite being in the fall season the heat of the sun at noon is still intense at least for me, so when the night came I kept working to take advantage of the coolness of the air.
It was time to take a break, the beer ran out haha and my strength was also starting to leave me.
In the morning and during the day, the new community pot looked like this.
Now that I see the post I think it has become too long with the pictures, I still need to show the new purchases I have made but I think it is better to leave them for another post, besides I will also show you the new pictures of the project, in fact at this moment I already have 4 pots of this type and as they are already a week old you can already see some growth in the cactus, it is something rare I think they did like their new space.
Anyway, in the next post I will also show how my grafts are going, I hope to be able to do the post in a day or two so see you then.
