Government Camp
On the road up to Portland from Bend, OR. There's a little gas station right at the base of the mountain. I felt bad for those poor people who have to work the place. Settings: ISO 50, f/4, 1/100 s.

Benham Falls
Just over two weeks before we head west. We'll make it quick. Made this photo on the Deschutes river. They call this a waterfall, which I'm not too sure about. I guess there is an elevation drop of 10

The night is young...
One of the better coffee chains around, if not the best. This one is just off I-5 north of Cottage Grove, OR. Settings: ISO 160, f/2.2, 1/250 s.

Copperline Viewpoint
Not actually sure if this is a real viewpoint on the maps, but it's a point, and it has a view, so there you have it. It's just a little down the valley from Yosemite Falls (heading towards Half Dome).

Back to Prisma...
So I deleted the app some time ago and recently got it back. I don't use it all the time, (mostly never use it), but it's fun to play with, and playing is good. Settings: ISO 25, f/2.2, 1/601 s.

Lake Michigan
Last week we made it to the 2019 Creation Research Society conference in Mequon, WI. It was held on a college campus that backed up to Lake Michigan, so that was swell. Made it down to the water just as

The expanse...
Made this photo the night before the 2017 Solar Eclipse (or, morning I guess, it was past 2 AM). Our little spot was outside Riverton, WY. Settings: ISO 4000, f/3.2, 20.0 s.

Light on the water...
Looking east over Lake Michigan. Turns out it's hard to find an open beach at 5:00 AM. Settings: ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/320 s.

At it again...
So, in keeping with a newly established tradition, I'm back in Wisconsin hours after @papa-pepper left the state. Not sure how we swung that, but we did. :) ISO 25, f/2.2, 1/582 s.

Old Jefferson and The Sisters (Monomad)
Made this photo from the south face of Mt Hood. The big guy in front is Mt Jefferson. Back in the day, there was a push to name most (if not all) the Cascade peaks after the various presidents. Not a bad

Bend, OR
Just under a month now, we pack up and head west for the Great Northwest. Shorter stay this time, but we'll try to make the most of it. I made this photo in Bend, OR during the summer of 2017. Settings:

Down that road...
Heading for a high of 90 today, so here's something to keep cool. I made this photo in January of 2015. I guess they don't plow all the roads up there. :) Settings: ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/400 s.

Good morning! Made this photo back in 2015 on the flight path between St. Louis and Chicago. That little bit of a river you see down there is the Great Mississippi. Settings: ISO 50, f/2.4, 1/559
