West end
Looking west over Bend, OR. A fairly serious rain storm (odd for that time of year I think) came through earlier that day, and broke up late in the afternoon. Settings: ISO 400, f/7.1, 1/100 s.

The old king
Making our way east on US 12, we paid a visit to the old man Rainier, king of Cascadia. Turns out, he's a big dude, over 14,000 feet tall. He's good, but he is not tame. Settings: ISO 200, f/11, 1/400

Across the sky
Made it up north of Grafton, IL to see the the Perseids. Since the sun was coming up, that made photographing them a bit difficult, but I managed to catch two here. :) Settings: ISO 1600, f/4, 25.0 s.

From our visit to Arches. I suspect there was once an arch here, but he's gone now, and what we have left looks like a boat. Don't know his name, though. Settings: ISO 250, f/11, 1/200 s.
