Hello Hive
Hahaha, I need my office and a space to rock this personally designed cooperate outfit to. 馃榿馃槀
This is how I round up this post about making this jacket and the matching pant I have been working on for a while now.
The challenges I faced learning and making this outfit are all welcome
they helped me improve.
And for the final part where i got stucked (the sleeves), God sent a friend better than a sister 馃槅 to help me work this out.
We robbed minds together and had her fix one sleeve while i had the other fixed.
It was easier that I thought, just a little tricky.
But since I have figured that out you can always refer any one to my tutorial on how to do this if they need help.
This is what you do!
After making your jacket and turning it in with your linings.
- Cut your sleeves with their linings
- Sew each separately, I mean you sew the sleeve separately and sew linings separately.
Now the only attachment the sleeve will have with the lining is at its base, and this is how it is done.
Turn the jacket in, fix the sleeve of the jacket to the armhole of the jacket
While you equally fix the sleeve of the lining to the.
Once this is done, the lining will run free inside the sleeve since it has no attachment with it at the seam allowance.
Next you turn the jacket out, push in the lining into the sleeve and turn the base of the two attaching them at that end.
That's all, I hope you can get this explanation or probably refer to this easy video for easy explanation.
That's done and I was happy to host @debbyola a twin and one of my closest pally.
She is also on hive but out of phone to blog with for now, her phone got bad and we are working on getting a new one for her.
That's my friend closer than a sister.
I hope you all are happily working and staying safe out there?.
