It's a beautiful Thursday morning and we are grateful for the help of God so far. We have been able to achieve a whole lot this week and it is such a blessing. Our blessings were multiplied in many ways such that we are grateful for the heavy downpour that came around to quench the scourging heat of a drought that was damaging our crops. I can say that no single crop was left unaffected.

Some rice seedlings withered off in the farm and you can see that these ones can no longer be revived but we have to uproot and replace the dead seedlings.

The beautiful thing is that once the rains resumes after these kind of brief break it is usually continuous till the end of the dry season and hence nothing we plant from this moment forward will be affected.

Due to this we have chosen to experiment planting a little beans. The best time for planting beans to me is usually the last week in July and they can still possibly be planted in the month of August if it is the 40days beans type. The 40days beans type takes at least two months to produce it's food.

Within the one to two months of planting they would have grown, produced some flowers and start bearing their seeds in the pods. Although harvest often occurs outside the two months time.

Due to the nature of rainfall pattern here we have done away with planting of the beans types that takes up to 3months to produce it's food. We are always after planting quality seeds that will give us maximum productivity and in a record time.

I may not have the capacity to grow as many cros this year or a large quantity of it. Daddy has been feeling unwell for a while and hasn't been able to help out much in the farm. If I should plant to many crop and cover so many ground it will be difficult to take care of everything.

Growing beans isn't a difficult task and since we love beans I decided to grow just a handful of it. We often harvest the beans when when they are dress and gressn in their pods to.
prepare certain delicacies.

Now that the rains are back the rains are back we will deploy maximum energe for the crops yet to be planted so that planting can be concluded in record time.
