I think this makes sense because Ranked rewards are so bad right now. Since they plan to improve rewards I'm not sure how viable it will be to purposely remain in a lower league but if the leaderboard prizes remain then it could still be better since you have the cards and skills to acquire it.

I'm not sure what I should do. I love competing for the leaderboard but it costs me pretty much all the DEC I'd win for 11-25 in rentals anyway so unless I can get into the top 10 it's not really worth it.

It's good practice with all the cards though so it's also investing in myself to learn the meta. If there is a Silver Shield Knights tournament to go along with it then it becomes a better deal for me.
