The Turkish Air Force bombed dozens of targets of the Kurdish People's Protection Units in Afrin, northern Syria, as part of Operation Olive Branch. Ankara said that its ground forces will carry out necessary operations inside Syria on Sunday according to the developments of the situation. A group of the Free Syrian Army entered areas near Afrin.
