For this digital artwork, I began with an original photo taken by me in Alexandria, Virginia, during the peak Cherry Blossom season in the Spring of 2008. I used a variety of image refinements, plus overlays and effects in Pixlr to achieve the look of a woven tapestry for the final art piece.
