Christmas tree-2020
During this festive season, we choose positivity and light,
But we cannot ignore, this year’s heavy plight.
It has been a tough year,
With death, sickness and fear,
Scarcity, unemployment and isolation,
However most are still here, to partake in the celebration.
...and celebrate we must, with a cheerful and thankful heart,
Whilst remembering most fondly, those who did depart.
During this festive season - we have life - so reason enough,
To be “joyful and triumphant” and to share lots of - LOVE.
