I flew across Australia and it took 8 hours lol. Those Norwegian people were really out of touch with reality.

The UK weather service uses the mercator projection and show the isles as almost vertical whereas in reality the UK is more or less horizontal on the west edge of Europe.

I've always thought this was a bad idea. The north is much colder being closer to the artic circle whereas the south is almost tropical.
