Count Binface received 9,455 votes compared to Farage's 22,239.

Almost 50% of the votes. There was no compulsory voting people did this for whatever reason.

There has always been a disconnect between a big chunk of the working class in Britain best exemplified by the fictional character Alf Garnet played by Warren Mitchell.

The character was a misogynistic racist bigot and Warren took the role to highlight this bigotry in the working class. (Warren was Jewish)

He waa horrified when he realised that the character was loved by the very people he was trying to influence.

It would be interesting to see how many spoiled ballots happen in the Australian elections.

I'm guessing it would be high.
