Do you think users will keep using musing.io if Musing stops curating?
Not everyone wants to admit it for some reason but in my honest opinion everyone is here for the money. There is even an expression.
"I came for the money but stayed for the community"
It all comes down to opportunity costs. We have a finite amount of time on this planet and you have to make money one way or the other. Most bloggers are trying to make money. A few may write a blog for other reasons but the vast majority write for money.
To quote Samuel Johnson in 1776:
"No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money "
With the news that steemit.com may be going into sunset mode in a couple of months. It may be that people will migrate to these other apps and will have to rely on the same circle jerking behaviour that we see on steemit if there are no curation rewards from musing.io
No rewards equals no content and to be truly honest. Steemit.inc is really not in the business of curating content and unless these apps can stand on their own two feet without steemit.inc support. They too will stop functioning.
We live in interesting times. :-)
