There's something quite liberating just sitting on the beach looking out over the seemingly endless ocean.
I had been planning on making a music video using some drone footage but every day that I went to the beach the wind conditions were not favourable.
So I was forced to just sit and watch the world do it's thing.

It was lovely just sitting doing nothing and contemplating the nature of life.
We can get sucked into all kinds of things by thinking they are important.
When we take the time to think and have a closer look at what we are doing. It becomes clear that there are very few things we must do.
The truth is. There's only one thing that is essential and that is to be alive in order to appreciate our time on this amazing planet.
All we 'have' to do is breathe.
Everything else is negotiable.
When we take stock of the things we need to survive. We see that it is very little about the stuff that we have and more about what we can do to keep our ourselves and the planet alive.
The music video will get made eventually. It's really not that important at all. Just a bit of distracting fun.
It was frustrating at first not to be able to fly the drone but it had the effect of making me think about what is truly important.
Sometimes things happen for reasons we cannot fathom but if you listen carefully it can teach us something useful.
Slow down and breathe in the air.
