The sun was out today and while trying and failing to get some more photos of birds. I thought I'd take a few photos of the flowers in the garden. Some people think that this Daisy is a weed but it is so pretty and it does a great job of fixing nitrogen in the soil which improves said soil.
After the daisy I got a bit snap happy and shot this flower below. I think it's some kind of honeysuckle?
And these purple flowers below? I have no clue whatsoever what they are called but they are pretty too.
All of this stuff grows with zero input from me which is just about perfect. This is my kind of gardening. It's fun to see what pops up naturally.
I am just setting up for a shoot tonight to get some images of the Milky Way.
This is the best time of year apparently for us in the northern hemisphere to get a good photo of our own galaxy. If it works out expect to see some stars tomorrow. Have a great weekend folks.
